    Our journey commenced in 1965 when Federal Stone Co. began producing swimming pool coping and distributing pool products. It was then that Gus Rethemeyer, a visionary in the field, purchased Federal Stone Co. and incorporated it into Federal Stone Industries, Inc. He shifted our focus solely towards producing and manufacturing pre-cast products, marking the pivotal moment when Federal Stone centered itself around family and the pursuit of crafting the highest quality pool coping for our valued customers, establishing a legacy that would transcend generations. Gus's passion laid the foundation for our success.

Passing the Torch

    In the years that ensued, Gus's son, David, assumed the mantle of leadership, following the untimely loss of our inaugural leader in September 2014. Under David's stewardship, Federal Stone Industries continued to flourish, raising the bar in the industry and setting new standards.
