May is recognized as National Water Safety Month in order to raise awareness for safer water practices. Because of the popularity of swimming and other water-related recreational activities in the United States, National Water Safety Month will be celebrated through educational programs, public service announcements, and governmental proclamations.
Federal Stone Industries, Inc. is the official Maryland State Sponsor for National Water Safety Month. In conjunction with the World of Waterpark Association, Federal Stone was able to acquire a Gubernatorial proclamation showcasing the event. It's our mission to make pools safe by casting the world's safest pool edge.
